Captain Michael De Paoli said his side were good in patches, but there were improvements to be made.
“Some parts we played good, we executed at times but obviously not consistently enough,” he said
“Too many times we weren't sticking passes and a good team would punish us.
“Today we didn't get punished for it, but we need to work to get it consistent at the right time of the year.”
The side can thank the partnership of Mairo Tikerberi and Algis Roog who scored six goals between them.
“Algis is a good player he is quick on and off the ball and he is the type of player when you think you have him you don't,” he said.
Tikerberi finished the game with four goals while Roog scored a double.
For the Hanwood side, their solitary goal came from Morgan Forster as Yoogali came away 6-1 winners in the at times fiery encounter.
