Darlington Point-Coleambally played its first home game of the season at Darlington Point Sportsground a fortnight ago and now Coleambally gets a taste of the action.

DPC will take on Hay at Coleambally on Sunday.

DPC coach Ryan McGoldrick said it’d be a game to remember for a number of his players.

“This year we’ve got a lot of Coly juniors so playing the first game at Coly will be very special for a few of them,” McGoldrick said.

“Especially the guys stepping up into first grade from the under 18s and reserve grade teams.”

DPC scored an impressive first round win over Black and Whites but McGoldrick said the Roosters still had gelling to do.

“We trained as a whole club the whole year up until that game,” McGoldrick said.

“There’s going to be different combinations and we still need to learn how everyone plays.”

The match will start around 3pm.
