Last Saturday’s event at the Griffith Golf Club was a single stableford with stiff breezes adding to golfers’ difficulties.
David Kidd 42 points won A Grade, carding birdies on the 9th. and 13th., firing 76 of the stick.
Alan Murnane 39 points second, nailing birdies on the 8th. and 13th.
Grant Semmler 40 points won B Grade, shooting two over par 38 out with seven pars, ahead of Matt Rummings, 38 points, draining a birdie on the 8th.
Countbacks sorted the places in C Grade after Byron James and Ray Barrington both carded 39 points. James took the win, carding a four point par on the 4th. Barrington nailed a five point birdie on the 11th.
Pro Pins won by Brett Polkinghorne and Paul Piiccoli. Par Threes, 4th. & 7th. Tony Catanzariti, 11th. Grant Semmler, 16th. Trent Anderson.

Duncan Adams 39 points won 0-18 Grade, draining a birdie on the second. Justin Robertson 38 points runner-up.
John Wallace 36 points won 19-36 Grade ahead of John Ellis 30 points. Adams won both pins on the 7th. and 16th.

The Second Round of the F. & R. McNabb Caltex Match Play was completed on Sunday.
A. Noad d A. Ross 3/2;and will now play C. Vearing in the semi, whilst M. Brown d A. Smith 4/3 and will now play T. Phillip in the other semi, which must be completed by Sunday, April 30th.
The Annual General Meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 18th. at 8.00pm.
At the moment, there only six nominations for Board positions.
A strong roll-up would be appreciated to come up with ways to improved the Clubs position.
