MARSH’S batsmen set their team up for a solid win over Maxwell on Saturday.
Marsh lost only the one wicket in reaching 83 to set Maxwell too big a task.
Maxwell responded with a respectable 8/79.

Maxwell’s batting was led by the in form Tom Taylor.
Tom retired on 21 while Hayden Forner performed just as well and retired on 20.

Maxwell’s innings featured five run-outs.

FINCH also only lost the one wicket in scoring 66 runs to bat Healy out of the game.
Jack Mingay led the way to top score with 10 runs and Lucas Irvin retired with nine runs to his name.
Vince Cartisano registered the best bowling figures with 1/11.
Healy scored 5/47 with Zac Ross, Riley Gatto and Matt Pastro all making contributions.
Cooper James hit the mark – ball after ball – in his three overs.
Cooper finished with an impressive 2/4.

A SIMILAR situation arose in the Siddle and Faulkner game.
Siddle made 1/79 thanks to a major contribution from Paddy Payne who retired on 29.
Ryan Garcia made a valuable 15 retired and Kyle Jamieson retired on 16.
Colby Humphries was the pick of the Faulkner bowlers as he finished with figures of 1/14.
Faulkner’s batsmen never got going and were only able to muster 5/20 in reply.
Kyle Jamieson and Paddy Payne did most of the damage. Kyle took 2/4 and while Paddy was a little bit more economical to finish with 2/3.
