ST PATRICK’S have celebrated Catholic Schools week by inviting parents to come along and take part in the learning atmosphere and see their kids in action.
The week marks the beginning of the enrolment processes for 2018 for the school and acting principal Sandra Campbell saw it as a great chance to showcase the best the school had to offer.
“We had an amazing day on Tuesday,” she said.
We had many of our parent community coming into classrooms and then sharing a picnic lunch with our students.
“The whole day was really well supported.”
The day kicked off with parent and family members able to come and join in on their children classrooms and take part in their lessons during the morning.
The lunch was provided by the year six parent committee in the form of a sausage sizzle.
The sausage sizzle was raising around $500 for the year six gift to the school at the end of the year.
