Diggers could be without skipper Pat Whittard for this Saturday’s Griffith District Cricket Association first grade clash against Leagues Club.
I’ll just see how the leg pulls up.

Whittard tore his calf at football training and with two games of cricket scheduled for the weekend – the Creet Cup final being the other – he said he’ll wait until Saturday to make a call.
“I’ll just see how the leg pulls up,” Whittard said of his injury.
“If it feels good, I’ll play Saturday but at this stage I won’t be playing.”
Diggers win against Hanwood last week consolidated their spot in the top four.
Whittard said the side was buoyed by the win.
“It helps when you win but I think everyone is getting keen for the end of the season,” he said.
“And now we have a good chance to make the finals everyone seems to be up and about and hopefully we can get another win.”
Leagues Club are in the hunt for the minor premiership as the Panthers sit just four points behind first-placed Coro.
The game will be played at Westend and starts at 1pm.
