GROUP Nine movers Brothers will unveil their new-look team at Friday night’s $15,000 West Wyalong Knockout.
Patrick Sagigi, Will Merritt and Connor McCauley will pull on the Brothers jumper for the first time at West Wyalong alongside returning recruits Peter Little and Ed Ansell.
Amid a pre-season of great hope, Brothers captain-coach Ben Black is not holding back and declared he is taking his team to West Wyalong to win the knockout.
“Definitely, I know everyone else is in the same boat but we’re going over there to win it and that’s why we’re sending a strong side,” Black said.
“We’ve had a good pre-season, we’ve signed good players so hopefully we can do it.”
Fijian prop Rulade Vuetivavalagi, who is yet to arrive, will be the only player missing from Brothers squad.
Brothers will take on Group 20 premiers Tullibigeal-Lakes United in the opening game of the knockout at 7pm on Friday night.
“Obviously they’re one of the best teams in the comp so it will be good to start against them,” Black said.
None of the seven Group Nine clubs competing at West Wyalong will meet until Saturday night’s quarter finals.
