A MAN will face court tomorrow, after allegedly discharging a firearm in East Griffith on Tuesday.

A 27-year-old man left his home at about 7.30pm on Tuesday, stopping behind a stationary vehicle on MacArthur Street giving way to a motorcyclist travelling in the opposite direction.
As the motorcyclist passed the 27-year-old man he allegedly yelled abuse. As the 27-year-old man was returning home, he commenced turning into his driveway.
The man recognised the motorcyclist as it reappeared allegedly swerving towards the driver’s side door of his car.
The man exited his vehicle and walked to the front lawn where physical altercation ensued and a small handgun was allegedly produced.
A third man came out from the premises to stop the fight. It is alleged the 25-year-old man pointed his firearm in the direction of the 27-year-old man and discharged one single round.
Officers from Griffith Local Area Command were notified of the incident and commenced investigations. The 27-year-old man sustained small cuts and abrasions to his face during the struggle.
Officers from Griffith Local Area Command executed a search warrant at a home on MacArthur Street Shortly the following day, where a number of items were seized for further forensic examination.
The 25-year-old man was arrested at his home, and charged with firing a firearm likely to injure person, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and possessing ammunition without a licence or permit.
The man was refused bail to appear at Griffith Bail Court on Thursday.
