Shellharbour City withdraw from West Wyalong Knockout
GROUP Seven club Shellharbour City Sharks have pulled out of next month’s $15,000 West Wyalong Knockout.
The Sharks informed West Wyalong Knockout officials of their withdrawal on Monday due to players not being able to travel due to ‘other commitments’.
Group 10 club Orange CYMS were on standby and have now been offered a position in the 16-team pre-season competition, to be held on February 24-25.
It is the second withdrawal after Junee pulled out of the knockout last week but were replaced by Albury, ensuring there is still a strong representation of Group Nine teams.
