AN ON-GOING drainage system upgrade will see a number of roads closed and traffic diverted throughout the Griffith area. Council has advised Kookora Avenue from Collarene Avenue to Kooringal Avenue, Gunbar Street from Wiradjuri Place to Kookora Avenue and Bringagee Street from Bowditch Place to Kookora Avenue will be closed from January 3 to January 20. As a result of this closure, motorists are reminded to expect minor traffic disruptions and residents are advised to follow traffic control signs.
