That’s the message from the Griffith Legacy branch, which is hosting its annual sale at the Kiosk on Banna Avenue today.
Branch president Graham Young said the group supported a number of widows across the district.
“We look after mainly widows of War War II veterans in Griffith,” Mr Young said.
He said the widows and families were eternally grateful for the support.
Mr Young encouraged residents to head down to the Kiosk and buy a badge, a pen, a teddy bear, some fresh produce, a cake or simply purchase a ticket in the raffle for two stunning orchids.
Volunteers are manning the store until 3pm today.
