Mr Stonestreet told The Area News he did not, at this stage, accept any breaches had occurred, but he would respond to any directive or finding by the board.
He also said council officers were no longer using any discretion in regard to issuing of building certificates until they had a response from the board.
“The matter has been reported to the BPB and I will co-operate fully with any directives or outcomes they determine,” Mr Stonestreet said.
Director of sustainable development Neil Southorn also said he did not accept any breaches had occurred.
“I believe my report to councillors and committee is sufficient response to whatever allegations have been made,” Mr Southorn said. “All of the matters raised in (The Area News’) enquiry have been investigated.”
