The Griffith and Regional Association of the Performing Arts (GRAPA) will be holding auditions on Saturday for their mid-year production Two One-Act Plays. Stella Dougherty from GRAPA said the group encouraged anyone who was interested in acting to come down and audition. “If you’ve got a genuine interest then you’ve got what it takes,” she said. “There are male and female roles and parts for all ages.”

The production will feature plays The Cardinal and the Cover-up, specifically written for the group by local Phil Clarke, and To Burn A Witch set in 17th century Salem. “There is tension in these pieces straight away, they are really great plays,” she said. GRAPA have an exciting season ahead performing Much Ado About Nothing and hosting acting workshops through the year.
