It was Robyn McCanna’s 10^th year at the annual event in Sydney, but this year had special significance. Robyn’s daughter Sally was airlifted to Canberra by the rescue helicopter last year.

“Without them there’d be a lot of people who wouldn’t reach their destinations for care,” Mrs McCanna said.

“Sally was a colourful person and pink and purple were her favourite colours so we got tie-dyed shirts, we’re entering from now on as a team and these shirts will be something we have always.

“Our target was $5000 and we ended up with just over $6000. We want to thank everyone who supported us, we’re just happy with everybody who got on board.”
