Shortly before 5pm, a Toyota Kluger hit an unoccupied Hyundai Getz into the path of a Mitsubishi Lancer on Banna Avenue near the post office.
No one was injured, but the driver of the Kluger was a bit shaken up.
He said he had been driving in Australia for 15 years and had never had an accident.
Griffith's Dave Greenham saw the accident and decided to help with traffic management.
"I came up the street and saw all the cars piled up," Mr Greenham said.
"You help out and do what you can."
