In quite convincing fashion Cod Rock took out the race in a time of 1:23.81 with second place Hangin’ With Willy trained by last year’s winner Trevor Sutherland, finishing eight lengths further back.
It was a case of fourth times the charm for winning jockey Jason Baldock who had finished the previous three races in fourth place.
