Having been co-coach for the past two years under Morriss, Andrew Lavaka has stepped up to the role.
“It was always heading in that direction,” he said.
“It isn’t an easy role being the first-grade coach but I’m really looking forward to it, and it will be a good challenge to do it on my own.
“There will be a few changes in how the sides plays, but there should be any big differences.”

“Numbers have been good at training, but we know we have lost a few players from last season,” he said.
“As a coach, you have to have that confidence your boys will be able to perform.
“If you put in the hard work early one anything is possible to come the end of the season.”
While the defending premiers have not cemented any trial games at this stage, they are hoping to have one set up in the next couple of weeks.
