The first hurdle they will need to overcome is taking on Leagues under lights at Exies No 1 on Saturday afternoon.
Diggers will need to win their remaining games and hope that Coro drop points in at least two of their last three games as Diggers are currently 13 points behind the Cougars and will have the bye in the final round.
One thing working in Diggers favour is the form they are coming in with to this matchup having picked two outright wins in the last two weeks.
Leagues are also coming into the game off the back of an outright win and will be boosted by the return of opening batsmen Ben Leach has missed the last couple of game with a knee injury.
In the head-to-head between the two teams this season, Diggers do hold the advantage with three wins including an outright victory in their previous timed meeting back in round eight.
