Isabella Quarisa, 18, will have her painting titled “inevitability of nature” on show at the Griffith Regional Art Gallery ArtExpress exhibition.
“It’s two portraits of my nonna and nonno…and two of their harvertors… because they’re passed award it’s inspired by that, it shows the cycle of life,” Isabella said.
ArtExpress is an exhibition featuring a selection of outstanding student artworks developed for the art making component of the HSC examination in art subjects.
Isabella is thrilled her artwork was selected ahead of the thousands of entrants across NSW, and offers some advice to those want to follow in her footsteps.
“It’s important to pick something that really inspires you, and to experiment with as many mediums as possible”.
Miranda Fink from Albury High School is the only other Riverina student to have her art displayed.
