A Yenda man has been sentenced after being caught driving with drugs in his system twice in two months.

Dylan Wilson pleaded guilty to two counts of driving with illicit drugs present in his system. The offences took place in October and November of last year.
He was fined $300 for the first offence and $600 for the second and disqualified from driving for a total of nine months.
Mr Wilson allegedly tested positive for cannabis and methamphetamine on both occasions.
He was pulled over for a random breath test on October 2 when he tested positive for the drugs.
The second offence also took place during a random breath test near Bilbul, five weeks later on November 11.
The Magistrate told the defendant it was “not a matter I can overlook”.

A Deniliquin man has been denied bail in after being charged following an incident where shots were fired into a Deniliquin home.
The defendant appeared in Griffith Local Court via video link on Wednesday, January 17.
His co-accused remains in custody. It is believed she did not make a bail application.
