After the Nomads won the toss and elected to bat, they looked to get on the front foot early through Cooper Smith and Lachlan Vogan.
Kennedy had other ideas and dismissed Vogan (0), Tom Fattore (2), Zac Leach-Deahm (2), Shaun Iddles (9) and finally Smith (13) to pick up five wickets within the first 10 overs to have the Nomads struggling at 6/36.
Mitchell Wiseman (7) and Shane Taylor (7) tried to add to their side's score, but the introduction of Jamie Bennett (3/1) into the bowling attack saw Wiseman, Ben Smith (1) and Sam Breed (0) fall in quick succession as Coly were bowled out for 58 inside 20 overs.
Gus Van Tilborg (0) and Brett Crooks (12) fell to the bowling of Iddles (2/8) to put a scare into the Coro camp.
Brady French put his head down and along with Chase Verri were able to get their side to within 13 runs of victory before Verri (8) fell to the bowling of Wiseman (1/5).
Justin Moat (4*) along with French (28*) were able to guide the Cougars to a seven-wicket victory with 19 overs remaining.
In the other Saturday game, Leagues made the trip to Yenda to take on the Jets.
After winning the toss and electing to bat the Panthers lost early wickets as Shae Prudham (3), and Jackson Hasson (0) fell to the bowling for Jesse Wade-Ryan to have the side in trouble at 2/6.
James Shelton (10) and Derek Opo tried to get their side moving in the right direction however when Shelton fell to the bowling of Neil Burke, Leagues needed to restart once more.
Opo (20) and Liam Warren (9) put together a 26-run partnership for the fourth wicket while late order runs from Babar Safdar (25), Tom Greenaway (16*) and Anoop Ravindran (28) saw the Panthers post 106 off their 30 overs.
Peter Longford (18), Jason Rosenow (13) and Burke (12) gave their side a fighting chance, however, the bowling of Travis Payne (4/9) and Safdar (3/15) saw Yenda bowled out 44 runs short of the target.
In the Friday night game Exies were able to close the gap on Diggers after becoming on the second team to defeat Diggers this season.
After Exies won the toss and elected to bat, Scott Campbell (29) and Lyle Campbell (44) let their side up well with Exies finishing on 191 after being bowled out in 30 overs.
Diggers put up a good fight in their chase with Rocky Perre (50*), Jack Favell (36) and Brendan Wade (20) gave their side a fighting chance.
Three wickets to Exies’ Cameron Arnold (3/34) eventually saw Diggers restricted to 8/163 off their 35 overs to give Exies a 28-run victory.
