Chris Tomi was unknown to the female victim when he punched her outside her Griffith home in the early hours of the morning.
He pleaded guilty, copping a $1500 fine and a two year good behaviour bond.
The female victim was in her bedroom in the home she shared with housemates when she heard two voices coming from the next room.
Shortly thereafter, she observed a taxi driving away from the property.
Sometime later, she was alerted to a loud banging on the door. Upon opening it, she was confronted by Mr Tomi.
The victim closed the door and went to speak with her other housemate. When both girls opened the door two minutes later, they threatened to call the police.
The court heard Mr Tomi’s wife appeared at the scene, asking her husband to get in the car before approaching the two women.
He approached the three women, allegedly saying “flog her, hit her, smash her”.
The defendant then clenched his fist, punching the victim in the the face.
Police were called to the scene and attempted to arrest Mr Tomi. He allegedly attempted to shrug police off and ignored requests to cooperate.
Police allege the defendant was intoxicated at the time of the incident.
