The Aussie icon was announced as the headline act on Monday. He will trot into town to headline over the Easter weekend, a throwback festival set to combine classic tunes and great local food.
General and VIP tickets will go on sale on Friday, January 19.
A festival spokesperson said the organisers were overjoyed at the response.
"We are over the moon with the response Rewind in the Vines has received, we're excited and it seems like Griffith is too,” they said.
“We have a very limited capacity at the Miranda Winery site, and once the next allocation of tickets go that will be it. We suggest securing your tickets as soon as possible to avoid any disappointment!"
Joining Mr Braithwaite will be Australian rock legend Ross Wilson of Mondo Rock and Daddy Cool fame.
Mr Braithwaite has seen a huge career resurgence over the last 18-months. Most recently, he played to huge crowds at Lorne’s Falls Festival. Aside from the iconic Horses, Mr Braithwaite is also responsible for hit songs like You’re My World, Summer Love and Howzat,
While Mr Wilson is sure to get people moving with his 1971 classic Eagle Rock. Forming Mondo Rock in 1976, he brought about for 1980’s hits Cool World, State of The Heart, Chemistry and No Time.
With both men members of the ARIA Hall of Fame, Griffith certain to be tearing up the dance floor.
“Rewind in the Vines will kick off at Miranda Winery on Sunday, April 1 as part of Griffith’s second ever Vintage Festival.”
The Vintage Festival itself set to take place at the same venue on Easter Saturday. Event organisers say they want to combine musical talent with some of the best wine the Riverina has to offer.
“Griffith Vintage Festival (GVF) is a celebration of all the fantastic wine that is produced in the region, and allows locals to connect directly with the winemakers themselves.”
Mr Braithwaite and Mr Wilson will be joined by indie-rock three piece Bootleg Rascal, fresh of an Australian east coast tour. While Happy Avenue, Ben Ceccato and Heatstroke will add to the Griffith talent performing throughout the afternoon.
Pre-sale tickets are available from 9am on Wednesday, January 17, with general release going on sale on Friday, December 19.

A spokesperson for Griffith City Council said the festival offered something for people of all ages.
“Griffith City Council is once again driving the Griffith Easter Party program, promoting all the events that are on in Griffith across the weekend through a dedicated marketing campaign to attract people from out of region,” they said.
“The Griffith Easter Party experience will suit everyone: There are activities for toddlers and young families, Griffith Vintage Party for Millenials and a new music event for the young at heart.”
