Not only was the weather kindly, but the track designer smiled on us with some of the best available.
The Short course might have tried to stay together but the trip up Dom's Dilemma put an end to any of those ideas, and they finished in relaxed dribs and drabs, led by Anita Calabria whose last run was so long back she probably has forgotten about this BeSocial thing.
Toward the back of the field, the Dal Broi boys - Connor and James - won the most sociable award, running in formation from start to finish.
In the Long course, Aidan Fattore and Mark Andreazza lead the field home but lost kudos for dropping their mates way back.
Most of the start groups lacked any cohesion, but again the twelve minute group take the prize this week finishing with Julie Duncan, Adrian Baird, Steven Bourke, Jeremy Woodhouse, David Heffer, Graeme Lyons, Tony Rokov and A're "ran all the way" Abera intact as well as sweeping up a few stragglers of other groups.
Fellow starters Benjamin Marshallsea and Gary Andreazza will meanwhile be promoted due to their unsociable running.
Two runs remain in the BeSocial series and this week is predicted to be another forty plus, so the organisers will have the water out, they expect it to be used, and they expect all runners to take it very easy.
All the hot weather rules will be applied, and these can be found under the FAQ's on the website.
Holidays have been an excellent chance for a run 'elsewhere' but attendance is still up on the Hill.
The Joggers meet every Saturday with a choice of short or long on the tracks and trails of Scenic Hill, starting 5:30pm from the water tower opposite Pioneer Park Museum, be early to register.
