Young will make the trip to Griffith to try and take O’Farrell while Ardlethan/Barellan will try and take Creet Cup.
It was Young who took the O’Farrell for Griffith last season and Griffith captain Haydn Pascoe knows where his side needs to improve from that performance.
“We just need to get the runs on the board and make sure we take our catches,” he said.
“Sam Langford was the only player who got runs against us last time, so we just need to make sure we don’t give any easy chances.
“We have also been losing wickets in big clumps and not being able to form partnerships and that will be key as well.”
Pascoe was proud of the way some of the younger boys performed last weekend and took their chance to perform in an important game for their senior representative side although admitted there were tough decisions made around the selection table on Wednesday night.
“There are a few changes from last weekend, and it was tough to change a winning side,” he said.
“We have had some guys come back from holidays so it should be a pretty full strength side.”
Pascoe is also hopeful he will be able to line-up on Sunday after missing the win over Cootamundra due to a back concern.
“I will be playing for Coro on Saturday and will see how I pull up after that,” he said.
“At this stage, I am pretty confident I will be right to play.”
Both games will be played at Exies Oval on Sunday with O’Farrell taking centre stage on Exies 1 while Creet will be played at Exies 2.
