Exies have been the benchmark team of the first-grade completion so far this season and have already picked up one piece of silverware when they took out the Twenty20 competition before the Christmas break.
In the first grade competition, so far this season Exies have only lost one game which was their round one meeting against Leagues. Since that point, they have been on an 11-week unbeaten run and now sit on top of the table with a 29-point lead over second place.
Coro, who currently occupy second place, have had a mid-season form revival after a somewhat shaky start to the season.
Since their last loss to Leagues in round five, the Cougars have been on a six-game unbeaten run largely down to the form of their younger up-and-comers, in particular, Dean Bennett who is leading the run scoring for first grade.
The young trio of Lucas Conlan, Angus Kennedy and William Kennedy will be coming into this game with confidence having played key roles for the Griffith side in their success in O’Farrell Cup against Cootamundra last Sunday.
In the two meetings so far this year Exies have been the more successful side.
