According to Griffith Police, two houses in the area were damaged, with bricks thrown through front, rear and side windows.
Graffiti detailing obscenities and genitalia was made through one house, down the hall and on kitchen benches.
The plumbing within the house was damaged, with a pipe broken spilling water out onto and flooding the floor.
Police say skirting boards were damaged, clearly as a result of the water.
Three young boys between the ages of 12 and 15 were seen in the area shortly before the incident.
One is described to have been wearing a red and white cap, with a red shirt, accompanied by two others.
In other news, a 2013 model silver Ford Ranger utility was stolen from a premises on Wakaden Street, and remains missing.
