Domain Sydney. Story by Sue Williams. Story: Denise Hunt is a 68-year-old woman living in a building in North Sydney. She has accused her owners corporation of endangering the lives of residents by not fixing a faulty lift, and dragging their feet over replacing it (it??????s old). It doesn??????t even stop at her floor (level 5) most of the time, and tends to stop not flush with landings (the stuff of nightmares). She says it??????s old and dangerous, keeps everyone awake at night with crashing and juddering noises, and she??????s scared the doors will take off a limb. Photo shows, Supplied photos taken by Denis showing the lift malfunctioning.. Photo by, Peter Rae Thursday 9 November 2017.
