Ahead of the quarter final between Tonga and Lebanon in the Rugby League World Cup, the Griffith Tongan community will be showing their support with a march on Saturday morning.

With former local Andrew Fifita playing for the Tonga side it will bring two different cultures together with the local Aboriginal community joining in with the match.
“It is great for us as a community to be coming together to show their support,” Poasi Moala said.
“Griffith being so multicultural, gives us the opportunity to come together and use our culture to show support.”
There will be a gathering in Willow Park on Saturday starting at 10am before the match will start at around 10.30am as they walk down Banna Avenue before looping back to the Willows.
The game between Tonga and Lebanon in Christchurch will be played out at 3pm AEST on Saturday afternoon.
