Police have charged a 62-year-old learner driver with driving with close to four times the legal limit of alcohol in his system.

The man was in pulled over by highway patrol last week, as he appeared to be speeding and straddling the lanes on Crossing Street.
Police conducted a roadside test which returned positive reading, and placed him under arrest for breath analysis.
The analysis at the station gave a positive reading of 0.187, almost four times the legal limit.
He had his license suspended and will appear at court at a later date.
He was also hit with traffic infringement notices for speeding, for driving unsupervised and for not displaying learner plates.
There have also been more break and enters this week, as well as malicious damage and thefts from vehicles.
Two incidents of malicious damage and theft occurred between 10pm on Tuesday and 2.15am on Wednesday morning.
A vehicle in Griffin Avenue received extensive damage including smashed windows, which police estimate will set the owner back a great deal of money to repair.

A number of tools were stolen from the back of the vehicle.
A parked Corolla also had its windows smashed on Erksine Road in the same time frame, however police say it doesn’t appear entry was gained.
Another home was broken into on Tuesday in Wyangan Avenue.
Nobody was at home at the time of the robbery, however there was an amount of electrical gear was stolen.
