Griffith Exies bowls report

The final of the men's fours championship was played on Saturday. Clint McCormack's team played sensational bowls to easily defeat Paul Woodland's team.

Congratulations to both teams for being the two best teams in the comp.

The men had their annual president's day on Sunday with 26 teams comprising local players and visitors from around the district. Each team played two games in a random draw.

The Darlington Point team of Rohan King, Trevor Hornery and Kel Harrison won the day with the team from Leeton Soldiers Club runners-up.

Legacy provided an excellent lunch and conducted a raffle which had been well supported by local businesses with great prizes on offer.

Barefoot Bowls welcomed a new team last week. Although the Honda Centre finished with L/L they had a fun night and are sure to show a big improvement when they come back for their second night on Wednesday.
