It was a nail-biting conclusion with Leeton requiring six runs off the last over and getting the runs with two balls to spare.
Earlier in the day Griffith had won the toss and elected to bat, Griffith was able to make a good start with Andrew Potter (22) and Reece Matheson (24) putting on 47 runs for the first wicket before Rehwinkel (1/36) struck to remove Matheson.
Potter and Griffith captain Marc Tucker looked to keep the score ticking over but Leeton captain Nathan Carn came into the attack and put them on the back foot.
Griffith lost three quick wickets, all picked up by Carn, with Potter, Tucker and Jamie Winkler (8) falling within four overs to have the side on 4/77.
Jason Hampel (12) and Charlie Cunial (4) looked to be getting the side back on the right track with a 20-run partnership for the fifth wicket before Carn struck to remove Cunial and Hugh Collins (2/27) bowled Hampel.
Late hitting from Ryan Greenaway (63) and Lucas Conlan (23) helped keep the side moving with a 62-run partnership and even when Conlan fell Greenaway didn’t take his foot off the gas with Griffith reaching a final total of 7/196 off 45 overs.
Leeton started well in response, with Matt Dedini (18) and Nathan Tang (49) putting on 35 runs before Connor Bock (1/26) has Dedini caught by Cunial.
The real damage from Leeton came in the second wicket partnership between Tang and Jarred Lane (69) as the pair made inroads into the total with a commanding 108-run partnership.
When Lane was dismissed by Nicola Harbison (3/36), it triggered a slight stumble in the Leeton innings with Tang and Carn (2) falling to the bowling of Harbison.
When Collins was dismissed by Cunial, Leeton required 43 runs off six overs with Jarryd Day (26) and Rehwinkel (20) at the crease.
The pair needed to score at a run-a-ball for the last few overs needing 13 to win when the second last over started and were able to reduce the deficit to six runs off the final six ball.
With Tucker coming into bowl it was a dot ball off the first but the Leeton pairing was able to hit six off the next three to get home with two balls to spare.
