Hillston/Lake batted first and after a solid start which saw them reach 3/32 only managed to get to 7/68 in their allotted 30 overs.
Riley Glasgow top scored for Hillston/Lake with 10 runs. Ben Fattore was Griffith’s most successful bowler, taking 3/2 off three overs.

Griffith were in trouble at 2/1 when Jack Mingay came to the crease. He hit a quick 25 retired including six boundaries to take the pressure off the Griffith batting.
Handy contributions of 12 retired from Cooper O’Connor and nine retired from Bede Kenny saw the home side get over the line with 5/71.
Blake Dillon was Hillston/Lake’s spearhead capturing 3/3 which included an impressive Hat Trick.
Griffith will now prepare to take on Narrandera on November 26.
