ABC garden guru Phil Dudman and fab foodie Julie Ray are Garden2Kitchen and together they have been spreading a simple message - “Grow your food, know your food, love your food”.
Phil and Julie will attend the Griffith Spring Fest launch party on Friday night, the long Italian Table on Saturday evening and Spring Market on Sunday for talks and demonstrations.
As well as attending the Spring Fest launch party, Phil and Julie will combine for a Garden2Kitchen talk at Greengecko Garden Centre on Saturday 3pm.
Phil will talk about growing herbs and succulents for small spaces in quirky pots and jars, while Julie will show how to make a quick pesto with home-grown herbs
“Phil and Julie will be delivering workshops in the gardens throughout the weekend,” chairman of the Festival of Gardens working group, councillor Rina Mercuri said.
“Over the weekend you’ll find Julie at De Bortoli Family Wines, near the cellar door, creating easy delights such as Moroccan chicken with pilaf.”
