The Year Six dynamic duo watched NSW Deputy Premier John Barilaro, Assistant Minister Sarah Mitchell and Nationals candidate for Murray Austin Evans answer a series of media questions.
The Area News then gave them similar questions – on what they’ve delivered for their classmates, and how they’re responding to their electorate’s demands.
Ms Jones highlighted bringing more fun to the school are her key achievement, while Mr Schmetzer emphasised how his “gratitude” and “funniness” have boosted school morale.
Both pledged to listen more, and to look into student demands for longer lunch hours – in due course.
Neither of them missed a beat answering the tough questions. Watch the video for the full interview.
