Mayor John Dal Broi presented the certificates of appreciation to 47 Griffith musicians to thank them for their efforts in the celebration.
Griffith Musicians Club’s President at the time Pat Sergi, now vice president, was thrilled to have the talented musicians rewarded.
“It was an honor to be part of a celebration, that we were all part of the celebration of the history of Griffith,” Mr Sergi said.

Griffith’s centenary celebrations in 2016 was declared a huge success, with a crowd of 15,000 people lining Banna Avenue.
“There was also no-club members that performed as well, and we have a lot of musical talent in Griffith, and we loved sharing it with the community of Griffith,” Mr Sergi said.
