Ms Brown is going from strength-to-strength this year after she recently received her first ever silver distinction at the Australian Professional Photography Awards.
Ms Brown was overwhelmed with her success at what is a prestigious event.
“The awards are set out depending on the number of points that each print gets – similar to how a wine show is run,” she said.
As she was only allowed to enter four prints, Ms Brown concentrated on the pet category this year and it was a decision that paid off for her.
She decided to photograph three adorable boxer pups, Ziggy the kitten.
Ms Brown also played with a Andy Warhol classic, as well as snapping her feathered friends in some top-looking chickens.
Ms Brown has now set her sights on working towards the notable gold award, which would assist her in receiving her masters.
Photography has long been a passion for her and it shows no signs of stopping yet.
