The evening acknowledged the hard work and achievements of the club’s players and members. 

Unable to separate them at any point, the first grade football Best and Fairest was awarded to Chris Cerato and Tom Morton. 

The award served as a fitting send-off for Cerato ahead of his return to Turvey Park for the 2018 season. 

Tom Groves was first grade’s runner up, also taking out the Geoff Rutledge Award. 

Chis Hayes picked up Rookie of the Year. 

Lachlan Vogan was awarded Clubman of the Year for all of his work with the reserve grade and in developing younger players. The win complimented his triumph in the reserve grade best and fairest.

The Under 17’s vote kicked off with Ryan Mannes taking out the Best and Fairest.  

Capping off a stellar season, the A-Grade netball side finished third on the end-of-season ladder, making it to the preliminary final in Wagga

In the top netball grade, Jemma Pound took out the Best and Fairest after being voted runner-up in the 2017 Farrer league competition. 

Keeping it in the family, her sister Brianna Clark was first grade’s runner up. 

Molly Harper was named Netball Club Person of the Year for her contributions to the side over the last season. 

Unable to pick a single winner, the Carol Heath Memorial Award for Sportsmanship was presented jointly to A-grade newcomers Molly Young and Hannah Buchanan.

As well as it being their first year in the top grade, both girls had also helped out with coaching younger teams.

Kate Tupou took out the top prize for the B-grade netball side, with Tessa Mader for C-grade. 

The CFNC Annual General Meeting will be held at the Coleambally Community Club on Tuesday October 3. Everyone is welcome to attend.
