President of Hockey Association Michael Crosato said great hockey was played by all.
“The games went really well and pretty much went to script. They were good teams this year,” Mr Crosato said.
“We haven’t been able to have both [Easts] teams win at the same time, generally when one wins the other looses, and unfortunately it happened again.”

Captain of the Easts Women’s team Fiona McKenzie said while it was a tough game, it is always enjoyable to play against the Vic Hotel team.
“All out games against Vic are good and enjoyable, but we had to work hard for the win,” Ms McKenzie said.
This year all round has produced some excellent games, with team spirit high.
“Getting both minor and major premierships this year was quite good, usually its one or the other, but just the team spirit of the women's comp is amazing,” Ms McKenzie said.
Hopes for next year a high as well, with plans to encourage junior players.
“We are hoping everything will continue the way we have been with our development, and we are starting an indoor competition this summer, hoping it will generate some more numbers,” Mr Crosato said.
“Keeping continuity with friendly competition, and hopefully coming away with another win three years in a row,” Ms McKenzie said.
