McWilliams Family Winemakers came away with Best Popular Premium White, Best Dry Red, Best Durif and Best Mature white, while Calabria Family Wines were awarded the Best Dry Red, the Ian Bicego Memorial Trophy of best Still Wine of Show, and Best Young White.
De Bertoli Family Winemakers took out the Best Popular Premium Sparkling, Most Successful Exhibitor of the 2017 Riverina GI Show, Best White, and Best Museum Class.
De Bortoli’s winemaker Robert Delgado said the evening showed the company is headed in the right direction.
“We received the most successful exhibitor award, which obviously represents good work across all areas,” Mr Delgado said.

“To have so many of our wines shine through in such a fierce competition is a real testament to the skill and talent within our company,” Mr McWilliam said.
Casella Family Brand took the Best Popular Premium Red, Nugan Estate won the Sean Hampel Memorial Award for Best Riverina Shiraz, and Mino & Co took away the Best Sweet Fruity.
