Nathan Rowley and Lawrence Salvestro have been busily preparing for the Championships.
“It means a lot to be going to the Championships, it’s a big deal for me,” Mr Salvestro said.
“I’ve worked non-stop, been putting in a lot of hours and been working on a lot of techniques, it’s really coming through, so I’m very happy.”

With his coach Melissa Morgan in Canberra, Nathan Rowley has also shown he has the dedication required to keep up training while working as a first year carpentry apprentice.
“Five years of hard work is starting to pay off, and it means a lot to be able to represent Australia again, but this time at a world event,” Mr Rowley said.
“Just going over there and knowing I’ve done my best, and see what happens and where I can go from there.”
Mr Salvestro’s Coach Ben Pawson is thrilled their chance on the international stage.
“Lawrence has been training exceptionally hard and is very hungry for a podium finish,” Mr Pawson said.
During the qualification rounds in Argentina, the boys are to shoot rounds of 72 arrows at an 80cm target 50m away, and they will be ranked on their score out of 720, and the elimination matches commence.
“At a trail qualification round earlier this week Lawrence scored an incredible 702/720… so Lawrence has an exceptional chance to take out the event,” Mr Pawson said.
“I wish both boys all the best and hope their results mirror the effort they applied leading up to the event.”
Nathan is currently number one in his age group, and Lawrence is number two, but the boys say it could change at any time.
“They are both shooting well at the moment,” Michael Rowley, Nathan’s father said.
“I have watched them both shoot, and the boys are definitely in with a chance.”
Nathan and Lawrence fly out on Monday, before taking part in a three day training camp to settle in and acclimatise before they start shooting on October 1.
