After heading into the quarter time break 9-3 some quick ball movement saw the side move out to an 11 point lead early in the second term.
The Swans continued their good play to head in at half time up by 12 goals.
Knowing a space in the grand final was on the line the Tigers came out in the third quarter strong getting four straight goals before scoring six of the seven goals to reduce the Swans lead to eight.
The Tigers run continued with three quick goals in the fourth saw the side close to within four before the Swans scored four quick goals to move out to a seven point lead.
The resurgence was led by Georgia Burley who scored five from five to maintain her side's lead.
The Tigers looked to close to within two goals resulting in a nervous few minutes for Swans supporters, but Noel Barone at goal keeper made crucial intercepts to get her side the win.
