Cirque Africa, the world renowned acrobatic sensation is a uniquely African experience mixing up dance, acrobatics and comedy in an infectious, intoxicatingly high energy, family friendly romp.
Featuring a live band of world class African drummers and musicians, this exotic blend of theatre, music, circus and riotous African culture has been stunning and delighting Australian audiences.
Griffith Regional Theatre Manager, Raina Savage said the reviews for the show are ‘relentlessly enthusiastic’ and anyone who appreciates stunning athletic skill, hilarious stunts and infectious African beats will be bouncing in their seats and laughing out loud.
“This show is for the whole family. With ten incredibly fit acrobats building statues with their bodies and contortionists who literally turn themselves inside out ...” Ms Savage said.
“And be warned – you may find yourself becoming part of the show!”
The show is authentically African, keeping the energy pumping and holding the eclectic collection of high octane acts together with humour and fine-tuned skill.
Cirque Africa is on at Griffith Regional Theatre for one night only on Thursday, September 7 at 7.30pm.
