THE Greens didn’t let anything slip past their defence last weekend, while the Hawks weren’t as lucky.
Leeton travelled to take on Tullibigeal Lakes United on Sunday and came away with a commanding 32-0 victory over the Sharks.
It was the opposite for the Hawks, who were down several players, losing 40-0 at Yanco Sportsground to the top-placed Black and Whites.
It was a tough battle for the Hawks in wet and windy conditions and they will be looking to bounce back this weekend against Hay.
However, it will be another tough challenge for the Hawks as they hit the road.
The Magpies are third and will be seeking to cement their position ahead of the looming finals series with their fight for a potential top place finish to continue until the final round when they take on top-placed Black and Whites.
The Greens will return home to No. 1 Oval on Sunday where they will face off with West Wyalong, who are sitting outside the top five in sixth. It will be a good opportunity for the Greens to test their combinations and skill.
