Griffith Local Area Command investigators established Strike Force Chando after a number of buildings were broken into in the Narrandera township in early July.
During the blitz, six sheds, a house and a number of cars were broken into and property taken from them.
As well as the break-ins, two vehicles were stolen and dumped close by.
Investigations led police to a house in Hay on Wednesday morning.
Around 10am, a 36-year-old man was arrested at a Leonard Street home and taken to Hay police station.
He was subsequently charged with five counts of break, enter and steal, two each of break and enter with intent to steal and take and drive conveyance without consent, and malicious damage, larcey and a number of other unrelated offences.
He was refused bail and appeared before Deniliquin Local Court on Wednesday.
