The team is currently playing in Melbourne at the 2017 under 12s Rugby League Championship which started last Saturday.
William was selected in the side after a strong showing for Riverina at the State championship in Newcastle earlier in the year.
From there he was selected alongside 32 other talented players from around NSW which was then broken into two teams, NSW and NSW Invitational.
William’s father Kodie couldn’t be happier with his son’s efforts to make the NSW side.
“I’m just stoked,” he said.
“My wife and I are really proud of how far he has come.”
So far the side has picked up a draw against Victoria and lost their other two games against NSW and Queensland with the competition finishing this weekend.
