Police have seized firearms and explosives following the execution of two search warrants at Hay on Wednesday July 26.

Following investigations, about 12.50 pm officers from Deniliquin Local Area Command executed a search warrant at an address on Moppett Street.
At the property, police seized a large amount of rifle and shotgun ammunition, as well as a silencer and explosives.
Police spoke with a 67-year-old man and accompanied him to his nearby workplace, where they seized unregistered firearms – being two shotguns and a .223 rifle.
Detectives are continuing with their investigations and charges are expected.
This comes after Griffith LAC seize drugs and ammunition found during a police raid at Yanco last week.
A 61-year-old man was charged with the alleged firearm and prohibited drug offences as a result of the search.
Griffith Local Area Command police searched the Short Street property at Yanco about 4 pm on Thursday July 20, seizing firearms, ammunition, methamphetamine and cannabis.
