Monaro like the Rhinos have endured a tough start to the season, but coach Ross Morgan knows his side will need to be switched on.
“Monaro hasn't picked up any points this season,” he said.
“We know we can’t take this game lightly. It is a great opportunity to pick up points.”
In the last few games, the Rhinos have shown periods of promise and Morgan is hopeful this holds them in a good position.

“I think if we perform for 90 minutes as we have in patches against Canberra Olympic and Tuggeranong we should be in a good position,” he said.
“We need to go out there and set the tempo.”
Going into the game, the side will be without Roy Catanzariti and Luke Tsantefskis and have some doubt over Sean Bremner, but it is an opportunity for Quinn Howarth for the under 20s and Alexander Mulrooney Castellano for the under 18s.
“It is a great chance for these guys to get some first team experience,” he said.
