The colourful duo have decided to end their library careers 28 years after commencing a then radical job share arrangement to manage the library in 1989.
The pair had a lunch farewell attended by NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian, local member Adrian Piccoli and Griffith mayor John Dal Broi two weeks ago.
Thursday was a chance for library patrons to say goodbye, and dozens who had been visiting the library for decades attended.
Both women will continue working until the end of the month.
Christine started her career as a library assistant in 1970, with Pam joining in 1974, together serving a combined 90 years.
