Round 12 of Griffith Hockey kicked off in the men’s division with Bulldogs finishing on high note after taking on Easts men 3-1. Easts Mick Crosato claiming the only goal and Bulldogs Neil Burke scoring 2 and Mark McLean chipping in 1. Game 2 saw Galahs continuing their winning streak with a convincing 4-0 finish over Leeton Devils. Jamie Piva Contributing 2 followed by Mick Connellan and Chris Powsy contributing 1 each.

Women’s Division kicked off with Galahs earning their first win of the season over the Bulldogs, finishing 3-1. Galahs Jakob Buckley, Toni Howard and Aly Wallace all contributing a goal each against Sharon Croce’s one.
GRE took on the Easts who came out victorious winning 6-0. Easts Madalyn Ellison scoring 2 while Lauren Marshall, Caitlin O’Laughlin, Roz FIshenden and Mel Bonetti contributing one each.
This weekend will see Easts and Bulldogs face off again while Leeton look for redemption when they take on Galahs. IN the Women’s GRE will take on Galahs while Hotel Vic play Bulldogs.
